24 low-quality oil tankers returned to Iran

FARAH: The Afghanistan National Standard Authority (ANSA) has returned 24 oil tankers to Iran, after assessing them as low-quality, ANSA said in a statement Tuesday.
“At least 24 low-quality oil tankers had been stopped at the Abu Nasr Farahi Port of Farah province and returned to Iran for being low-quality,” said the statement.
The National Standard Authority has recently taken necessary steps to prevent the importing of low-quality oil to the country.
Meanwhile, ANSA’s officials said no one would be allowed to import low-quality oil into the country and asked all national businessmen to import quality goods to the country, or they will be dealt in accordance with the law, according to the statement.
Few weeks ago, the Afghan National Standard Authority (ANSA) had returned more than 23 low-quality oil tankers from Islam Qala port of Herat province to Iran.
