21 buglers arrested in Samangan

AIBAK: Security officials, in Samangan province, have arrested a group of 21 armed robbers during an operation in the province, police said Saturday.
Police Chief Qari Ahmadullah Badr, said in a press conference that a group of 21 armed robbers, involved in numerous cases of robbery and looting in Balkh, Baghlan and Samangan provinces, have been arrested by the security personnel of the counter-criminal department and taken to the justice and judicial organs for more investigations into their cases.
The arrestees have confessed to their crimes in the preliminary investigation, according to the official who added about one million Afghani, some jewelry, cell-phones and weapons have also been seized from them during the exact search operation.
Meantime, Mawlavi Abdul Ahad Fazli, governor of Samangan, reassured the people and said: “The brave security forces are always at the service of the people and do not spare any efforts to ensure security in the province.”
He assured that they will not allow anyone to disturb people’s security and endanger their lives and property.
