20 people join families after addiction recovery in Zabul

KABUL: A total of twenty people have been handed over to their families after being recovered from addiction in the country’s southern province of Zabul, a statement from the country’s ministry of interior said the other day. The statement quoted Faiz Mohammad Fayzani, the manager of counterdrug office of the ministry of interior as saying that the people have earlier been taken to a drug addict treatment center, where they have fully recovered.
“The 20 people have been returned home after full recovery,” said the counterdrug officer. He assured that his office was fully committed to collect drug addicts all over the province and send them to the provincial treatment center.
