MIHTARLAM: Up to 20 acres of poppy-cultivated farmland have been destroyed in Umar Zayo vicinity of Laghman provincial capital Mehtarlam city, the Ministry of Interior said in a statement the other day.
This should be noted that the campaign to destroy drug-fields in Alingar, Qarghayou and Badpakhsh districts and some other villages related to Mihtarlam city, the capital of Laghman province has started.
According to the statement, the poppy eradication drive will be continue until there are zero narcotic farms in the province.
