2 historical relics recovered in Zabul

KABUL: Two historical relics have been recovered in a house in the country’s western province of Zabul and handed over to the provincial department of information and culture, Bakhtar News Agency reported the other day.
Both historical statues have been taken to the provincial museum of the information and culture in a ceremony attended by media persons, the agency said.
The recovered historical objects included a woman resembling statue and the other of a beast with thousands of historical backgrounds, have been hidden in a house in the Shah Joy district of the province, said the agency quoting Mawlavi Usmatullah Karamt, the provincial counter-crime chief.
Meanwhile, the director of information and culture asked the people to help the department find historical artifacts.
